IGN IS CUP is the first official tournament of League of Legends focused on the female scene promoted by riot games , com Start on November 1st. The championship was attended by eight teams classified through Goddess Cup in the dispute for the R $80 thousand awards. Despite being in its final phase, the competition had some highlights in the quarterfinals, including the Freedom Fighters Project team.
The team failed to advance to one of IGN IS CUP's decisive stages after losing two series against Raised Games on Wednesday (2). The semifinals were marked by disputes between pain gaming , miners , Raised Games and triumph. But the search for classification for the last phase was guaranteed by PAIN Gaming and Raised Games, who face each other in the big decision on November 12.
This is a very important initiative and expected by the female scenario as a whole, which welcomes cis, trans, transvestites and non-binary people. Thus, this part of the community can accumulate competitive experience in a safe scenario and gain autonomy so that in the future it can also compete in mixed tournaments. Riot Games had other examples this year, such as Game changers of Wild Rift and Along .

How did the interest in LOL's competitive scenario emerged? How much do you participate in tournaments?
Ellie: After many years watching Riot's official tournaments, I wanted to see myself there. I have been actively participating in the scenario two years ago.
Marine: I started to be interested from the moment I started playing RP championships. I participated in tournaments two years ago.
Doctors: I had some friends who encouraged me to play competitively for finding me good, so I started looking for teams. I play for two years competitively.
unei: I always enjoyed watching and playing LOL, eventually, the interest would happen in the competitive and happened. I play competitively a year ago.
Bianka: After winning a face-to-face championship at an event just for fun I felt more like doing that more often. I've been participating in tournaments for three years.
How was the process of setting up the team?
FFP: Coach Benching began to do Scout from some players to form a team with Marine and Bianka, Bot lane already knew each other and was together for a long time. Ellie had played with the pair, then unei And Doctors were additions made two weeks left to the beginning of the qualifiers. Due to the lack of time we did not doCry Out_, it was only through scout, memories of past confrontations and feeling on the players.
How was the experience of going through the qualifiers and reaching the playoffs?
FFP: Because it was a hurry-done team we didn't know if we could pass, so every victory we had in the qualifiers made us want to continue, evolve and pass. But each defeat also had a giant weight. About our expectations. Until we managed to qualify, and it was a mix of feelings of joy and relief.
What are your expectations for teams? Which teams do you find stronger?
FFP: We believe it has three very strong teams, which would be MINERS, PAIN and RAISED, we face on the first day of GNIS, and we believe they are very disputed confrontations among the teams.
LOL's female competitive scenario has had other important moments before, but this is the first time Riot Games itself organizes something official. How do you see this moment of the scenario?
FFP: We see this moment as the gateway to the professionalization of the female scene that we expected so much, the dream of several girls and can become real. Being able to make the game a job.
How was the team preparation for playoffs?
FFP: For the playoffs we had the opportunity and support of Liberty to train at his Office in São Paulo. We left Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and Paraná to train in SP, we had a taste of Experience that CBOL and Academy boys experience every day: we woke up early, we have physical preparation, physiotherapy, have lunch together, play Solo and about two blocks of scrim per day. Then review with our Cottar and Benching and Individuals with Horse (Liberty Support in CBOL), which helps us better understand our mistakes and hits.
