Microsoft: Sales in Gaming
Microsoft has published current figures for the last quarter of the current financial year that ended on September 30th. Accordingly, total turnover in the gaming division increased by 16% compared to the first quarter of the previous year. The Xbox hardware increased sales by 166%, which is due to the demand of Xbox Series X | S, which was not yet on the market in the same period of the previous year. As far as sales with Xbox content and services concerns sales, sales increased by 2% compared to the strong previous year, with growth in Xbox Game Pass subscriptions and first party titles in part be balanced by decline in third-party titles.
